The Department of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Thammasat University, was established in 1964 and is recognized as one of Thailand’s leading psychology schools.

As one of the pioneers in the field, we offer students a comprehensive introduction to psychology, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for postgraduate studies and professional development. Our program is designed to provide an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue careers as psychologists or researchers. We take great pride in the strong employment prospects enjoyed by nearly 100% of our graduates, as well as the high percentage who pass the clinical licensing exam.

Our department is supported by a dedicated team of full-time faculty members, all holding postgraduate degrees from prestigious universities in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Each semester, the Department of Psychology serves over 1,000 students from Thammasat University through both core and elective courses. Currently, more than 200 undergraduate students are enrolled in our undergraduate psychology program, benefiting from our commitment to academic excellence and student success.
